A complex integration scenario I have implemented using SAP Process Orchestration involved integrating multiple systems for an e-commerce platform. The solution consisted of the following components: (1) An HTTP adapter to receive orders from the web shop, (2) A transformation step to convert the order data into a format suitable for the ERP system, (3) A JDBC adapter to store the transformed data in an intermediate database, (4) An ABAP Connector to extract the order data from the intermediate database and post it to the ERP system, (5) Another HTTP adapter to send confirmation messages back to the web shop, and (6) Error handling mechanisms to ensure proper processing of exceptions.
