If a candidate is a mechanical engineer or any engineer by
profession, Normal question being asked is Why you chose HR
specialisation as you had in front of you Marketing as well
as Finance....???
Answer Posted / himanshu123
According to me, We engineers (Mechanical here) know better
the situation of workplaces as we can share out technical
knowledge in a better way. Also the knowledge of Industrial
Management which becomes utmost important as far as the
workplace environment and other policies is concerned.
Not to forget all the theories being discovered by Maslow
and other thinkers were from industrial background...So we
are actually the base of this field. Understanding workers
at their own workplaces cannot be known better by us than
others....
SO i have done no harm in selecting HR as a specialisation
