It is better to create a document type for purchase order.
Because all the time we may not have the material that
customer has placed directly. Once a PO is raised by the
customer we have to check wether all the material ordered
by customer are available or not:
1. If available, copy PO to SO.
2. If not communicate to the Customer and the available
material is considered

My question is when you have a make-to-order scenario, how does MRP will be figured? How system know that when you create a sale order whether the sale order is calling for make to order or make to the stock type of order, which data determined this is made to order make to stock….
