Extended IDocs (Intermediate Document) in SAP ALE (Application Link Enabling) allow you to exchange data between different systems. The steps for creating an Extended IDoc are: 1. Define the structure and semantics of the IDoc using a schema. 2. Create an IDoc type and corresponding IDoc structure. 3. Implement a function module that creates and updates the IDoc. 4.
