Explain the difference between etl tool and olap tools?
Answer Posted / Diwan Singh Kanyal
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools are used for data integration, cleaning, and transformation from various sources to a target database or data warehouse. On the other hand, OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) tools are designed for complex data analysis and reporting by providing multi-dimensional views of data, allowing users to perform operations like drill-down, slice-and-dice, roll-up, and pivot. While ETL tools handle the data preparation process, OLAP tools provide an environment for data analysis.
