Straight and Crossable cables are both types of Ethernet cables, but they differ in their physical structure and usage. Straight cables, also known as patch cables, have connectors on the same end and are used to directly connect two devices within a short distance. Cross cables, on the other hand, have connectors at opposite ends, allowing them to be used to cross-connect switches or hubs in a network. This enables a more organized cabling infrastructure.
