How is choreography different from orchestration?

Answer Posted / Ved Prakash Tiwari

Choreography and Orchestration are both concepts in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), but they have distinct differences. Choreography describes the interactions between services that occur without a central controller, while the flow of messages is determined by the state changes of each participant service. In contrast, Orchestration defines a central controller that manages and coordinates the interactions among multiple services to achieve a specific business process.
