Which of the tables are inside and outside cube in an extended star schema?
Answer Posted / Chandan Kumar Roy
In an Extended Star Schema, the dimension and fact tables can be both inside and outside the cube. Inside cubes are the main fact and dimension tables that directly participate in the star schema, while outside cubes contain supporting data that is not used as frequently or may have a lower cardinality.nnFor example, an inside cube could be a sales fact table with measures such as quantity, revenue, and profit. Outside cubes might include additional tables for sales representatives, regions, or product categories.
