What is a temporal join?

Answer Posted / Saurabh Saraswat

A Temporal Join, in the context of SAP BW, is a type of join that combines data from two or more InfoCubes based on both time and key fields. This allows for analysis across different points in time. For example, it can be used to compare sales figures for the same product across different years.
