The BEx Analyzer connects to SAP BW through the Front-End Server (FES), which acts as a mediator between the Web AS and the BW system. The FES communicates with the BW system using RFC (Remote Function Call) calls, allowing the BEx Analyzer to access data from the Data Warehouse.
