To ensure that leave accrual for future periods is reflected correctly when an employee exceeds their leave quota, you can adjust the leave balance manually by using transaction code 'PERS_LEA' (Personnel Leave Management). After setting the leave balance to zero, the system will calculate the correct accrual based on the defined leave type and rules.
