Yes, there are some additional configurations required for account-based profitability analysis (ABAPA) compared to costing-based profitability analysis (CO-PA). While CO-PA only considers costs, ABAPA considers both costs and revenues. For ABAPA, you need to define profit centers, activity types, and output factors in addition to the cost objects, cost elements, and valuation rules that are used in CO-PA.
