In SAP PM, a reverse counter is a special type of equipment-related object used to track the number of maintenance tasks performed on an item. Unlike regular counters, which are incremented each time a maintenance task is carried out, reverse counters are decremented when a maintenance task is completed. This allows users to track the remaining life or usefulness of an item before it needs to be replaced or serviced.
