what kind of L2 & L3 tickets are in SAP MM. Explain with example. Any enhancement done by you in SAP MM?? please help me in providing some real time examples
Answer Posted / Tarun Agarwal
In SAP MM (Material Management), L2 and L3 tickets are incident tickets used to report and manage issues within the system. These tickets can be created for various purposes, such as:
1. L2 Tickets: These are generally less complex incidents that can be resolved by a consultant or support analyst. For example, an issue related to creating a purchase order or a problem with material master data.
2. L3 Tickets: These tickets are more complex and require the involvement of senior consultants, developers, or SAP support team members. An example of an L3 ticket could be a custom development request for enhancing an existing feature in SAP MM.
Regarding my personal experience with SAP MM enhancements, I have worked on several projects where we had to extend existing functionalities and create new ones using ABAP programming language and other development tools provided by SAP. For instance, developing custom reports, creating user-defined functions (UDFs), or extending existing transaction codes for specific business needs.
