Explain the types of subcontracting stocks in sap mm
Answer Posted / Ujjwal Mishra
In SAP MM (Material Management), Subcontracting Stocks can be categorized into two types: Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Subcontracted Materials. WIP represents the materials that are currently being processed by a subcontractor and have not yet been returned to your company. Subcontracted Materials, on the other hand, are materials that are procured from an external vendor as part of a subcontracting agreement.
