Can anyone tell me please how is the availability check carried out, how is availability working out in your job business, how is the ATP (availability to promise) is configured?

In SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), the availability check is performed by the Availability Check Cockpit (AICO). The system checks the stock availability of a product considering various factors such as lead time, safety stock, order confirmed quantity, and so on. ATP is configured based on the sales area, plant, and material master settings. You can set up different ATP categories, ATP types, and ATP views to customize the availability check according to your business needs.
