What is the difference between field-group header and other field groups?
Answer Posted / Rajesh Jha
In SAP ABAP, a field-group header (FHDG) is a special type of field group that acts as a container for regular field groups. The primary difference lies in their behavior during layout determination (LOOP-AT and LOOP-END) or when they are included in other dynamic structures like tables or structures. Field-group headers can be nested within each other, but only one field-group header can exist at the root level of a dynamic structure. Other field groups do not have this restriction and can be directly included in tables or structures.
