Give some difference between oltp and olap.

Answer Posted / Ashish

OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) is primarily used for transactional applications, where data is frequently modified and updates need to be made in real-time. OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), on the other hand, is designed for complex analysis of large datasets, typically involving aggregation, drilling down, and slicing and dicing of data. While OLTP focuses on fast insert, update, and delete operations, OLAP emphasizes fast query response times.
