What is the difference between snowflake and star schema?
Answer Posted / Rajat Pratap Singh
Snowflake Schema is an extension of Star Schema where the fact table in a star schema is further normalized by breaking down larger dimension tables into smaller, more detailed tables. This results in a more complex structure with multiple levels of hierarchy resembling a snowflake. The main difference lies in the normalization level and the resulting complexity.
