Explain what is the difference between bluetooth and infrared?
Answer Posted / Manikant Prasad
Bluetooth and Infrared (IR) are both wireless communication technologies, but they differ in several ways. Bluetooth operates on a frequency range of 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz, while IR operates on frequencies outside the visible light spectrum (typically around 800-900 THz). Bluetooth uses radio waves to transmit data over longer distances and through obstacles, while IR requires line-of-sight between devices. Bluetooth has a higher maximum data transfer rate (up to 2 Mbps) compared to infrared (up to several hundred kbps).
