The main difference between GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) lies in their methods of multiplexing multiple calls on a single frequency. While GSM uses Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), dividing time into slots for different users, CDMA utilizes spread-spectrum technology, spreading signals across the entire frequency band.
