Explain what is the difference between diplexer and duplexer and what position?

Answer Posted / Shivang Chaudhary

A Duplexer is a device used in wireless communication systems to allow full-duplex (simultaneous transmission and reception) over a single frequency band. It consists of two filters, one for transmitting and the other for receiving, coupled together. A Diplexer, on the other hand, is a device that allows separate transmission and reception paths to share the same antenna but does not support full-duplex operation. In GSM systems, duplexers are typically used at the Base Station (BTS), while diplexers may be used in some mobile devices.
