Why do we not use inductance in lag network? Explain in detail.

Inductance is not used in LAG (Least-Angle Grid) networks because LAG networks are designed to minimize the inductive reactance of a transmission line. The absence of inductive reactance ensures that the current flowing through the lines remains sinusoidal, which simplifies the analysis and reduces losses. Inductors would introduce inductive reactance, thereby defeating the purpose of a LAG network.
