Difference between display attribute and navigational attribute?

In SAP Business Intelligence, a Display Attribute is used to control the visual representation of a characteristic or object in the report, while a Navigational Attribute is used for navigation between different views or objects. Display Attributes are visible in the report, while Navigational Attributes are not.
