Explain the role of transaction manager and session?
Answer Posted / Kaushalendra Singh
The Transaction Manager is a component in SAP HANA that manages database transactions, ensuring data consistency. It controls the ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) properties during transaction processing. A Session, on the other hand, is an interface between the client and the database server that lasts for a specific period of time. Each session has its own Transaction Manager, which manages the transactions related to that session.
