What is the difference between PROCEDURES and USER DEFINED FUNCTIONS in HANA?
Answer Posted / Ram Pyara Singh
PROCEDURES in SAP HANA are used to execute a series of SQL statements in a specific order, without returning a value. User Defined Functions (UDF), on the other hand, return a single value when executed. UDFs can be used for complex calculations and data manipulation.
