Yes, it's possible to generate a flat file (XCF) from an IDoc in SAP. To achieve this, you can use the function module `BDC_OUTPUT` along with an LTM (Lawrence Technical Memorial) table containing the IDoc's data and the appropriate layout information. You will also need to define the corresponding output interface for your flat file.
