Let the width of the walkway be w. Then the perimeter of the rectangular terrace (including the walkway) is 2(60+w)+2(20+w)=240+4w+200+2w=640+6w. Since the area of the walkway is 516m^2, the area of the rectangle without the walkway is the total area minus the area of the walkway, which is (60*20)-(640+6w)=1160-6w. Therefore, w=184m.
