The Intel 8051 microcontroller is an 8-bit Harvard architecture microcontroller that features a CPU, RAM, ROM, I/O ports, timers, and serial communication. The CPU has an accumulator (ACC), B register, DPTR register, and special function registers (SFRs). The memory consists of 128 bytes of SRAM, 4 KB of EPROM, and 32 bytes of special function registers.
