In SAP BW (Business Warehouse), InfoObject creation shows 'Reference' and 'Template'. The Reference refers to the DataSource (e.g., a database table or an ABAP function module) that provides the data for the InfoObject, while the Template is a predefined structure that defines the properties of the InfoObject (e.g., data type, unit of measure, etc.).
