What is the difference between app.range and app.group ?
Answer Posted / Birjesh Kumar
Application Range (app.range) and Application Group (app.group) are two concepts in SAP HR that relate to infotypes and infogroups.nApplication Range defines the range of validity for an infotype, i.e., when it applies to an employee. For example, an infotype for personal data might have a range that starts from the date of hire and ends with the termination date.nApplication Group is used to group together related records within an infotype or infogroup. For example, you might create an application group within the Personal Data infotype to store multiple addresses for an employee.
