if user forgets to post to FI after payroll...can he post
at anytime...how will he go about it

In SAP HR, if a user has forgotten to post the FI after payroll, they should be able to post it later as long as the relevant time period (usually a fiscal year) is still open. To do so, navigate to the relevant transaction (e.g., FP03 for Mass Posting) and initiate the posting process. Keep in mind that any changes made might require corrections or adjustments.
