Planned consumption is a scheduled or expected decrease in stock level, like production orders. It uses movement type 40 (for finished goods) or 41 (for raw materials). Unplanned consumption, such as scrapping or inventory adjustments, typically uses movement type 10 for finished goods and 21 for raw materials.
