In SAP MM, there are several types of special stocks: 1) Quality inspection stock (ZI): stock set aside for quality control inspection. 2) Production stock (ZV): a special category of stock used exclusively for production purposes. 3) Safety stock (S): additional inventory maintained to account for uncertainties in demand and supply. 4) Maintenance stock (H): stock required for regular maintenance activities.
