In SAP MM (Material Management), Release Procedures with Classification involve materials that belong to specific plant-location-material (PLM) groups, while Release Procedures without Classification involve all other materials. With Classification, the MRP planning is based on PLM groups, and without Classification, it's based on individual materials.
