What is meant by condition technique? Can we say it is the combination of condition types, access sequence and condition tables?
Answer Posted / Hitesh Joshi
The Condition Technique in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) is a set of rules used to determine pricing for sales orders based on various factors such as customer, item, quantity, and delivery date. The Condition Technique consists of the following elements:
1. Condition Types: These are predefined rule sets that help you define pricing conditions. Examples include price control A (ZPRCA), price control B (ZPRCB), and free-text condition (ZPRCF).
2. Access Sequence: This defines the order in which condition types will be evaluated to determine pricing for a sales order.
3. Condition Tables: These contain the actual data used by the condition types during evaluation.
