A Functional Consultant plays a critical role in SAP Implementation Projects by:
1. Analyzing business processes and requirements to identify the best possible SAP solution for the organization.
2. Configuring and customizing the SAP system according to the identified requirements, using tools such as the IMG (Implementation Guide) and the Customizing Workbench.
3. Assisting in data conversion and migration from the old system to the new SAP system.
4. Providing training and support to end-users during and after the implementation.
5. Troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis to ensure a smooth rollout of the SAP solution.
