In a recent project, I worked on a functional specification document for an enhancement request related to sales order processing in SAP ECC 6.0. The goal was to add a new validation rule for discounts based on the customer's credit limit. Here is a brief outline of the work mechanism:
1. Gathered requirements from stakeholders and created user stories.
2. Analyzed the existing sales order processing logic in SAP ECC 6.0.
3. Created a new BADI (ABAP Development Infrastructure) to implement the validation rule.
4. Implemented the validation rule in the BADI, which was triggered during the creation of a sales order.
5. Tested the enhancement and fine-tuned the code as needed.
6. Documented the changes in the functional specification document and provided it to stakeholders for approval.
