Maoism refers to a political ideology based on the teachings of Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong. Naxalism is an Indian Marxist-Leninist movement that emerged in the late 1960s and is named after Naxalbari, a village in West Bengal where the movement started. Communism is a political and economic ideology that advocates for the elimination of class distinctions, centralization of ownership of the means of production, and distribution of goods according to work.
