give difference between generic & iterative process model.

Answer Posted / Vineet Kumar Verma

A generic process model is a high-level representation of the lifecycle of a software product, independent of any specific application domain. It includes phases such as planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. On the other hand, an iterative process model is a specific implementation of a generic process model that breaks down the development process into smaller, repeated cycles or iterations. Each iteration involves the completion of one or more stages of the generic process model. The main difference lies in the level of detail, scope, and flexibility.
