Answer Posted / Rohit Kumar Bhadani

The ISO/OSI reference model, which is used in ISDN communications, consists of seven layers. The layers from bottom to top are as follows:
1. Physical Layer: Deals with physical connection and transmission of raw bitstreams.
2. Data Link Layer: Handles error-free data transfer between connected devices.
3. Network Layer: Responsible for routing and addressing.
4. Transport Layer: Provides end-to-end data transfer services, including flow control and error recovery.
5. Session Layer: Establishes, maintains, and terminates communication sessions between applications.
6. Presentation Layer: Handles data formatting and encryption/decryption.
7. Application Layer: Supports network services for specific application needs.
