By mistake tds on salary short deducted and this mistake
find to TDS officer and told the staff after one year that
deposit the amount with interest through TAN. what these
amount deposit through employee pan or tan. pls. suggest
the right way.

If TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) has been incorrectly withheld from your salary, and it is later discovered by the TDS officer, you will be required to deposit the short-paid amount along with interest within a specified period. This deposit can be made through either your PAN (Permanent Account Number) or TAN (Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number), depending on whether you are an employer or an employee.
