TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) are both network file transfer protocols, but they have some differences: (1) TFTP does not require a username or password for authentication. It is typically used in simple devices such as routers and printers. FTP requires user authentication and offers more features such as directory listing, uploading, and downloading files. (2) TFTP only supports ASCII and octet data types, while FTP supports binary, ASCII, and EBCDIC data types. (3) TFTP does not offer error recovery mechanisms like FTP.
