To configure SquirrelMail on RHEL5, follow these steps: 1. Install SquirrelMail using the command 'yum install squirrelmail'. 2. Create a new user for SquirrelMail by executing 'useradd -m squirrelmail' and setting its password. 3. Configure the domain-specific settings in /etc/squirrelmail/domains/domainname.conf file. Replace 'domainname' with your specific domain name. 4. Set up your email account by editing the .htpasswd file located in /var/www/squirrelmail/. 5. Configure the mail server settings (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) in /etc/mail/squirrelmail.conf. 6. Start the SquirrelMail service using 'service squirrelmail start'.
