Line Drop refers to the loss of voltage or power that occurs in a power transmission line due to resistance, reactance, and other factors. It is usually expressed as a voltage ratio or percent of the original voltage. Percentage Line Drop, on the other hand, is a method used to calculate the drop by converting the absolute value of the voltage drop into a percentage of the original voltage. The key difference lies in how they are calculated and represented.
