To set up an injection system for a QSK series Cummins engine, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the engine by removing the air filter, fuel filter, and throttle body.
2. Install the injection pump on the engine block according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Connect the injection lines to the injectors and the injection pump.
4. For a click-type torquench system, set the base timing by rotating the crankshaft until the injection pump's timing mark aligns with the base timing mark on the camshaft.
5. Adjust the fuel pressure regulator to achieve the correct fuel pressure.
6. Install the fuel filter and air filter.
7. Connect the electrical connections for the injectors and other components.
8. Start the engine and adjust the fuel delivery and timing as needed.
