To account for this, you'll need to find the exact cross-sectional area or consult with an engineer familiar with the specifics of pile design.nOnce you have the cross-sectional area (let's assume it's A), the excavation volume can be calculated as V = AL (cross-sectional area times length).nb) To calculate the concrete quantity, first find the excavated volume (V) from part a). Then, assuming that the void spaces between the soil and the pile are filled with concrete, you'll need to determine the required concrete volume for filling these gaps (let's assume it's Vc). Keep in mind that the final concrete volume might be different if the pile design includes other materials like reinforcement or grout.
