The bug Reporting is logging of bugs is bug tracking tool including the details of bug such as priority, severity and steps to reproduce where as Bug tracking is to see to it that it is fixed in later stage of build and bug has no side effect on the existing code. If not fixed reason for not fixing and changing the priority levels to high to medium or medium to low etc, and severity levels to high low etc. on each time the testing is conducted on the unit where the bug is existing.
