Branch testing is conducted when limited functionality of application needs to tested for feature updates version change etc., Due to the application is developed in various versions, testing few features such as candidates login feature in security feature, currency convertor testing for banking applications etc are conducted in branch testing. In later phases of the testing entire application will be tested as a whole.
