Differentiate between intra & inter UOM class conversion
with examples????

Intra class conversion: In a UOM class, there are multiple UOMs having same class like if we have class as Weight, multiple UOMs in this class can be Kg, Grams, Ton etc. We can do transaction in any of them but as they can be stored in primary(base) unit only, we will have to define conversion between them that how much UOM will be equal to how much base unit. Such conversion within the UOM class is called Intra class conversion. In this only one base unit will be there.
Inter class conversion: If for an item, we have multiple UOM class like Weight, Volume, Dimension, we can do transaction in any UOM but to store we need conversion. So Weight class has Kg, grams | Volume has Ltr, Ml | Dimension can have Small, Large etc. Thus, if we give conversion like 1KG = 2Large or 1Large = 0.5Kg etc then such conversion is called Inter class conversion.
Standard conversion: If we define conversion irrespective of item among various UOMs, it is called standard conversion. For conversion, system first consider Item specific conversions, if not defined for that item, then it will go for standard conversion if we have selected there ‘both’ in item form.
